I was really Disappointed. This hotel is more suitable to 3star. Drain was clogged and dirty things left on in when I first check in. And the staff gave me a wrong key first and even though she changed to right one I was still in trouble to open the door. When I asked to her how to open, she couldn't explain the right way. The man who was seemed to be a owner came to tell me the way to use it. The pool is more like a jakuzzi rather than pool. Too small to swim.
We like the resort as it is a private and peaceful and great for a gym enthusiast. Don't forget to bring along sport shoes since it offers 2 free trial of fitness classes for residences.

The gym was very well equipped with a room to do yoga in too! The staff were all very friendly and spoke good english which isn't important but is helpful. The breakfast was beautifully presented and all meals were excellent! The rooms were exceptionally clean and very comfortable with everything you need! Very nicely situated away from any noise and the busy Sai Yuan street! Everything you need is close by. Supplement stores, health food shops, pancake man, massage at Keaw's massage ( There are two named the same, this one is South near Banana corner, by far the best in Nai Harn) Definitely be coming back!
Great stay, wish we had found the hotel sooner, I strongly recommend using the review score to search for hotels on Agoda, has served me better than Agoda's recommendations, not that they don't have good choices there to.
First off I'd like to say that we like the party scene, however we don't like to stay in the middle of it. That counted Patong beach out. We are also gym junkies as well as action sports people. Action Point fit the bill perfectly! A fantastic gym that anyone would love to work out in. It's clean and everything is bran new. The gym is also air conditioned which is very nice on those hot humid days. The resturant serves excellent food with better than average service. Dinner is a little on the pricy side, but breakfast was included and it was great. We didn't have lunch at the hotel so I can't comment on the price or the food itself. There are good restaurants around the area. The staff helped us rent a motorbike and even had it delivered to the hotel for us! Talk about turn key! The wifi works excellent. And it's close to the beaches where the kite boarding is done which is our sport all the way! I highly recommend kite zone if you're interested. I personally give Action Point hotel a 10 out of 10. Keep in mind, it is a little off the beaten path. If you don't rent a motor bike, taxi fares will be high. It's a very easy drive to Kata beach is about 15-20 minutes by motorbike. The traffic usually isn't that bad if you're use to dealing with regular traffic that would be anywhere. Patong beach is about 10-15 minutes further. Action Point hotel is not in a party atmosphere, but that is perfect for us. We will be back ASAP!
