The staff are very nice! I was impressed by their wonderful and sincere service! This is the best hotel that I stayed in Phuket. When I arrived, they gave me welcoming drink and food. They also provided me with useful maps. (The maps that I got in the airport are really useless.) Besides, they drove me to the beach nearby and took me to see the beautiful sunset at Phromthep Cape. They also drove me to take the bus to phuket town. Besides, the room is very big and tidy! The facilities are very good and new. The hotel is just around 5-10 minute walk to the Rawai Pier. Chalong pier is also not very far. I took the blue bus to Chalong pier. It cost THB$30-35 for one way. The view along Rawai beach is wonderful. I have an advice for those who want to go to Coral Island. There is no public boat going to Coral Island at Rawai pier.. (I read some information that there are boats going to Coral Island from Rawai pier and Chalong pier and that cost THB$100. I couldn't find any... The private boat would charge me THB$1000, some even THB$3000....So, I gave up going there..) If you want to go to Coral Island, you may (1) check the public boat at Chalong pier, but people would sell you private boat and it seems that just a very few people know the public boat... Private boat may still be the way if more people go there. (2) book Coral Island Resort... (3) join the local tour in Phuket Town, which is much cheaper than those in Rawai (I don't know why)...
I have travelled quite a bit and stayed overnight at different types of small, comfy B&B type places and guesthouses, but never have I experienced this just simply outstanding service, hospitality, cleanliness and comfortable, safe feeling of almost being at home ! You arrive at this place and from the very first moment, you feel like "yes, this is where I want to be, where I feel welcome, where the owners are taking genuine interest in pleasing the guest and take any feeling of anxiety or travel stress away !" And they keep this service up for you, no matter how long you stay ! They are also extremely helpful and very fast and efficient in finding good tours/dscounts, excellent and affordable restaurants where the locals go, they take you to the small, local, massage places where other tourists wouldn't get to, excellent and quality/price taxi service, genuine interest in your plans and how they can help simplify. It is just THE best place that I would recommend to even the most demanding traveller !

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights and loved it. We basically echo the sentiments of other reviewers. Good 9 at home It is located in Rawai, which is close to many beaches (nai harm, karon, kata, etc). Easy access to Rawai pier (5-10 minute walk). The room was new, clean, spacious - the AC and internet worked really well. There was a stand available 24/7 with bananas, snacks, coffee and tea. The owners, Apple and Jimmi, were incredibly gracious and helpful. We wanted to rend bicycles one day (apparently a difficult thing to do because most people rent motor bikes) and Apple drove us in her car to a few different places to see if they had available rentals. Unfortunately they didn't, but another perk of Good 9 is that they have motor bikes for rent (200 baht/day). Apple also arranged our ferry rides to koh phi phi and koh lanta, and got us a good deal. Since we left early for Koh phi phi, they made us a take away breakfast to make sure we had something to eat. Amazing place to stay! Would absolutely stay here again
I stayed at Good 9 at Home for almost a week and would highly reccommend it to anyone! The hotel itself is clean, attractive and extremely comfortable but that's not even the best part. The owners and staff are some of the best people i've ever met and i'm tempted to go back just to visit them! They really do take the name of the hotel to heart: i absolutely felt at home while i was here. Dont waste your money at the big fancy resorts. i did at first until i stumbled upon this gem and was ten times happier for a tenth of the price.

I was so happy with my decision to stay at Good 9 at Home. Having lived in Thailand for 3 years, the quality of the hotel is the best I've experienced in Thailand in this price range. The room was large and modern, and the bed was very comfortable. The location is a 5 minute walk from the beach road and very quiet at night. The location was also optimal for access to beaches and local restaurants, and the staff was very helpful with reading maps and arranging a bicycle rental. I have already recommended Good 9 at Home to friends and colleagues, and I look forward to returning soon!
Really enjoyed my stay here. It's a new hotel in a quiet location but can walk to the beach. Staff are great too.
Very new guesthouse with very attentive and friendly staff! Felt like being a part of a family instead. Had a bike accident and the staffs showed great care and concern, and even cleaned up my wounds every day! Very spacious and clean rooms too! Would definitely choose Good9atHome again if I were to visit Phuket in future! Sabai sabai!
