This is possibly the most confusing hotel I've ever stayed in - they really should issue a map! 3 lobby's, 2 pool areas and not really much information. So much wasted space in the foyer and ground floor areas but the rooms in Tower A ( Princes Suite) are quite cramped, no room for suitcases at all - they ended up parked on top of chests of drawers. Buffet breakfast was plentiful and varied, good selection of freshly cooked dishes - staff a little surly and unhelpful at times. This is quite an old hotel in an area that's a little off of the usual tourist areas. You need transport to get to any of the main attractions but tuk tuks and taxis are always available and the .local river boat stop is just outside the hotel. For 20 baht you can hop off at Central, and you're in the heart of the shopping area with good access to just about everything. There's no wi fi in the top floors of Tower A - though reception will happily sell you the voucher needed to connect. Air con is set high in the lobby's and public areas, take a sweater if you plan on using the free wifi in the lobby.
The room was very average. The breakfast buffet was probably the best thing about the hotel. The staff seemed overworked and underpaid. My colleague and I were in the hotel limousine that was in the accident on Sunday morning on the way to the airport. I have not heard a peep from the hotel asking about our welfare.
Not good as the superior room state only comes with twin single bed....where I am staying with my wife.
My stay at the hotel was wonderful, rooms are great value, breakfast is 1st class.Lobby areas are very pretty and the pool area very scenic with great views of Bangkok. My only complaint is the hotel didint provid free the rooms. wifi are very expensive.
We were very satisfied with our stay and comfort of our rooms staff very friendly and helpful would stay again.
The stay was good and good value for money. However there is two things that was really annoying. 1 - We had ordered a pickup from the aiport, which the hotel missed! It was really frustrating standing at the airport and try to find out what's wrong!! 2 - The free wifi was only available in the lobby and was really unstable. The internet in the room costs extra.
Huge Room, quite, walking distance of shoppoing areas.
My stay at the hotel was wonderful. Service was really good at the front office who always offers help. Hotel was located just a 20mins drive away from city area where you can get away from the buzzing city. There are also night markets just outside the hotel with many local thai food available. Food is superb. ALL IN ALL i will definitely come back to prince palace hotel if i come in a group cause its definitely super value for money.
