This trip is so attractive mostly because of this nice accomadation. Many European solo visitors choose here. The locker is larger than my expectation and I could even put my 22" luggage into it. The lobby is fantastic and very comfortable since its design is semi open and there is no window or door. If the weather is not cold, sitting there to chat with friends is a good choice and that's why so many visitors can just sit there drinking beer for the whole afternoon. I was thinking it must be unsafe because of its no door & no window design, thieves can easily get in but eventually my concern was resolved. The staff is pretty hospitable and really nice. The vegetarian breakfast is ok. It's better to trust each other than making any rules. This is a very impressive guest house.
Was there during Loy Krathong festival, what a great time to visit
Fantastic
My wife and I had an amazing time at the Green Tiger Vegetarian house. The owner, Daniel and his lovely wife are caring so much about their guests and do their utmost to make the stay as comfortable and memorable as possible. It is really unbelievable how much service and quality you can get for such fair room rates. In detail: 1. Transfer: very friendly driver picked us up at the airport in Chiang mai. Max 8min trip to the hotel 2. Location: hotel its located in the north- west of the old town close to various restaurants, spas and supermarkets 3. Room: we had the superior room. Air conditioning and free wifi everywhere. Clean bathroom. Beds were really comfortable 4. Breakfast: so great. I had the muesli with banana each morning. Coffee is great as well. Fresh smoothies and fresh fruits 5. Trips: the owner was so kind to help us with an elephant tour. I highly recommend that you ask him for advise on what to do in Chiang mai. We also did a Thai massage. Summary : we can highly recommend this place. Nothing to complaint. You won't find such a customer service somewhere else.
Wonderful little oasis. Loved the downstairs lounge/restaurant and pool area and the upstairs deck as well. Rooms were clean and staff very friendly. Great quiet location in old town...easy to take a taxi or a 20 min walk to east of old town for shopping and more restaurants/bars.
Everything really nice even sometimes they had a little problem but it was quite normal for the guesthouse that full of people but the people here are very friendly and caring us...so i would like to say i luv this guesthouse so much.
Location is within the old city. I will definitely stay in this hotel again in future.
Perfect.
Great choice in Chiang Mai. I'd definitely stay again!
Very comfortable room, complimentary breakfast, nice place and has a swimming pool Overall, it was a nice stay. Gotta go back.
It was great to have quality for such a low price. If I ever return to the Area I wouldnt hesistate to stay again. . I would reccomend to anyone for incredible value with small $ spent!
Green Tiger definitely live up to it's review. The staff is helpful, the room is comfortable, the lobby area is great, the swimming pool is fantastic and the relaxing area on 4th floor is awesome. Will definitely consider staying here again on my next trip to Chiangmai :)
I spent 5 nights at there and I met a lot of people from different countries. The owner and stuffs keep providing valuable information to the traveller. And I think it is really a wonderful place to stay.
Affordability doesn't have to mean dire surroundings! Green Tiger is luxury for the amount of money you are paying for - great aesthetic, warm and comfortable. It is such a homey place that should one tire of exploring, hanging out at Green Tiger is not a bad choice. The owner (and their pets - Coco & Hero) and staff are friendly and very kind. The food is delicious and servings are generous. It is tucked away in a quiet corner of the old town, but with quick accessibility to the main road. Would come back here in a blink of an eye and would recommend to those visiting Chiang Mai
Great stay at the Green Tiger, staff were very accomodating and helpful of all needs.
Excellent. Both my dad and I have very good impression of this place with the warm welcome by the owner of the hotel himself (Daniel) whom also helped us to carry our luggage when we first arrived. The place itself is very relaxing and it is very obvious the owner has pay a lot attention in decorating the place in detail to make guests feel at home. The complimentary breakfast that was provided to us were very delicious. The room was also very comfortable. However location wise depends on what the traveller seek for as this hotel is located inside the old town so the place is very quiet, and the good point is it is walking distance to a few of the famous temples. While the crowded night life for example the night bazaar is located outside the old town, about 10-15mins driving distance from this hotel. Overall we are very impressed with the place. I would say it has the best hospitality among all the places that my family have been.
The hotel is located a bit far away from the hot tourists spots, but no problem, just 15-20 minutes walk. The staff is excellent, helping us alot in the room issue and transportation. 4th floor there is a small open space that can relax and have a nice view around Chiangmai, really enjoying to have a peaceful time there.
It exceed our expectations. It was in a quiet neighbourhood, wifi was good, vegetarian food was excellent and they were able to accommodate our food requests. Staff were friendly and offered good recommendations of places to eat, and sights to visit. There was a swimming pool and it was close walking distance to sunday walking market. Overall we were very happy and would recommend it as a place to stay for others.
