Stayed at the Grand Deluxe Lanna Room for 4D3N with my mum and we're glad to have chosen this room. Clean and spacious room with excellent facilities, the only downside were the amenities especially the handsoap and shower gel beside the bath tub. Handsoap bottle was spoilt and wasn't replaced. Breakfast spread was great with a variety of western and chinese cuisine. Both of us took the Princess of Lanna spa package on the third night and it was indeed worth the price with the perfect ambience to unwind after a day of exploring the city under the hot sun. Shuttle buses were available to ferry us to Wat Chedi Luang and also the night bazaar but booking must be made in advance as there were limited seats for the van. Tuk-tuk rides are all around the night bazaar to bring you back to the resort which ranges from 70-100 baht and takes about 10mins. Overall we've enjoyed our stay and will definitely recommend to people who wants a stay away from the city area. Thumbs up to the warm hospitality from all the staff!
The resort and our villa provide traditional Lanna design which is quite nice. The pool is a bit small. The breakfast is alright, not too much choices. Overall, it was a nice stay.

It's a very nice Hotel of the upper class yet better suited for guests without children - Overall decoration is superbe and food was sufficient, very varied and of good quality - only rooms are maybe a bit dark - overall, a very good stay in Chiang Mai
Had a lovely stay at the Siripanna. Staff were nice, buffet breakfast good although I feel that some of the food should be in an air conditioned room, too hot and humid to leave food out. Room was quite dark and a little more decoration would have brightened it up for example a nice thai throwover on the bed would have been nice, room was quite plain really. Over all a nice experience. We used a travel agent across the road his name is Jimmy and he speaks good English. Lovely man and is reasonably priced. We used the laundry down the road with excellent results.
Not as new as the photos shown. We also have unhappy experience with the staff. We have 2 friends accompanied us to check in and they did not allow to enter the room (It is alright for security we believe in the very beginning). As our friends would be around for occasionally, we asked the hotel if registration/ additional fee was required so that they could be in. The staff said no extra fee if no extra bed added. But then, we were back to the room that night, the phone rang and they questioned us if our two friends stayed there, and even sent a staff to check and said if they found our friends stay here, they would need us paid an extra 6000 baht. We totally felt offences and being threatening. 2nd day morning, another senior staff (who we has never meet, which also indicate they were closely monitoring us) came to us and warn us that if they saw our friends in this hotel again, we need to pay extra. We totally felt unhappy about that. From the above, we notice that We were totally no privacy there!!! All the staff keep on watching us whenever we were in the hotel. If they do not allow our friends or want us to pay extra, they should has do so at the very beginning (in which we also has asked). We were not secretly bring any friends in, we have informed that at the very beginning. If they told us that we would be under monitoring if bring friends in, then it is fine, we would choose whether to be monitored or ask our friend do not come. It is the worst experience for us so far. And thanks to Agoda customer service which help us to resolve it which give us the confident to continue to use Agoda booking. To be fair, the hotel did has some good points, it has a big washroom which is about 2/5 of the room, the lounge is well designed. It may suit couples.
About 15-20 minutes taxi ride from Chiang Mai airport. The hotel is located in an area with 5-10 minutes ride of tuk tuk (Thai taxi) to the River area (where lots of restaurants can be found) and the Old Town (one of the major attraction areas). Personally i prefer a location like this, which is quieter not close to any busy tourist area. Shuttle service offered by the hotel is available to specific popular spots but in limited frequency, and better to book in advance. Breakfast is good, guest room is spacious, bedding is comfortable, staffs are all friendly and helpful. Only disappointment is the pool is under maintenance during my stay which is not communicated when booking is made. Yet, the pool is rather small. A nice resort like Siripanna should have a bigger swimming pool for relaxation of guests. For information, the pool maintenance period is from mid Sep14 to mid Oct14 if you are planning a stay.

As everyone notes - this is a little way out from town, but that has the advantages of being quieter and the air being fresher. The ride into town is short and not that expensive 10min/100-150baht. We spent a lot of time in town at different restruants and markets and it was always great to come back to the hotel for a swim and cocktails at happy hour (2 for 1). The staff were exceedingly friendly and helped us out with all arrangements we had to make. Great value. We will definately come back.
Nothing's wrong with the hotel by itself, but the staff is really wrong there. When we arrived, one staff at the entrance showed us the direction to a full parking, so we couldn't park our car and had to go out and in again. Then, even though it was already 2pm, our room was not ready. We had to wait an hour before we could check in. In the room, no towels. For both the late room and the lack of towels, the receptionist gave us the worst justification ever: "Sir, we are fully booked". It was a long week-end, chances that they would be fully booked were extremely high... Basically, that hotel is probably nice but they can't handle things properly once they are fully booked. Let's not even mention when a few maids came inside the room unexpected, laughing at each other until they realize that there were actually customers inside. Let's also not mention the free lunch that they offered us to apologize for these problems, which they tried to charge afterwards. Besides that, the hotel looks nice and the rooms are totally fine.

The hotel was a bit out of the way but the staff was friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and clean. It's good value for money when we booked with 50% off. The swimming pool did not seem too appealing though so if you fancy a great infinity pool, you may want to look somewhere else.
Overall we enjoyed our stay, the room was great and staff were nice. However breakfast left more to be desired. Dinner at the same restaurant (ordered a la carte) was good though. Also, I was twice given torn towels (big holes in them) at the spa and at the pool. I don't think such towels should still be in circulation at such a good hotel. Staff were very aware because they personally laid these towels out in front of me. Not very impressed there! The spa service was great and everything else was excellent but it's the little things that count and I just feel that some things were missed. Cocktail hour is excellent though, served poolside by very pleasant waiters.
We had a wonderful stay in this hotel. firstly I chose this hotel only because it is kind of close to the airport, but it turned out surprisingly nice..maybe because we got upgraded to the villa. I especially liked the bathroom..there is a small fountain in there and it is luxurious. The staff was extremely helpful and nice! the only concern was they don't have wifi in the room...but it wasn't a big problem, since it was a short stay...Overall, I would definitely recommend to anyone!!!
