It was good. Other than the room was a bit dark and needs to be refurbished. Otherwise it's clean and cooling. No boiler thought, remember to bring your own!
This was my first stay here and it was very good. I have been comming to Chiang Mai for a couple of years and always stayed at another hotel. I changed because the other place would not fix anything also the staff had very little english. This hotel and staff were great, nothing was a problem Bfast , the pool and location was the best. I will be back
this is worth the price pay
Overall it was an okay stay. The air conditioner in the room didn't keep the room cool. We had to leave the unit on for hours and it still didn't get somewhat cool till the sun went down. We notified the hotel personnel on 3 occasions and it never did get any better. The breakfast was awesome as it had a nice variety to choose from.
Love staying at the Pornping for it's location, comfort, staff and value for money.
Very much enjoyed my stay over 2 weeks buffet breakfast was included and had a good variety. Would definitely stay again. Pool was nice good value.
I have stayed here many times while travelling through the north. It is a great hotel for the money, and being next to the night market is also a plus. The staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel is aging, but still charming.
fair price for the hotel conditions, and 5 mins walking distance to night bazaar.
Hotel is located centrally, but is very outdated. My sons room had a blackout due to the electrical plate coming away when the heavy key was fitted to access the electric for the room. It had previously been damaged and was held together by tape only. Only good thing was breakfast, but the reception staff were unhelpful. Most didn't speak English, but even to my Thai wife were not friendly. Shan't stay there again.
it was pleasant, good location. but the hall way smells cigarette, and the the roof was low. get deluxe not standard.
The floor we stayed on was covered in smoke. Other rooms had been smoking with their doors open wide and all the rooms we booked was covered with the smell of smoke. We even had a 5 month old baby with us and neither your smoke alarms went off of even your staff took this in to consideration. Very dissapointed in the amount of smoke in the corridor.
I appreciate good value, the only negative point it's coming holder they need to refresh the room furniture and the old carpet...
I would not book this hotel again.
My stay at the Pornping Tower Hotel was good. The hotel was strategic located; very near to night market. The setback is the toilet flush is not strong.
