The hotel was very good. The staff is very responsive and helpful.One thing that made the greatest impression on us was the hotel's willingness to reschedule our booking on very short notice (due to medical problem) without any extra charge.
2nd stay her and wont be the last. Love staying here and the only minor fault I could find is for breakfast don't cook the bacon so much, even better as some like it crunchy and some don't have 2 choices. A very minor and personal observation and will not let me stop coming back. To the staff you have excelled once again in making this one of the top hotels in Chiang Mai. Thanks
We had a pleasant stay in Dusit D2. The private check in service was nice and new to us. We were not able to enjoy much of the other extra's due to our busy schedule. Breakfast was superb and parking in front of the hotel was super. Nice staff during a late evening drink outside where we ordered a bottle of wine. Improvements: bathroom needs better care, leaking and fungus in shower due to incorrect ventilation system and bad cleaning. As in all Thai hotels the matress was too hard for our comfort. The lights in the room are not ok, or you need to read in a bright room or with a tiny bed light. Making sure some lights are not connected would help a lot. All in all we did have a pleasant stay.
Enjoyed my stay thoroughly with the good service, buffet breakfast with good spread of varieties and most of all one of the most comfortable bed I ever sleep in and of course private check - in for club deluxe room

Excellent place to stay. right near the night market and some great bars. Rooms were beautiful and internet was quick. Would stay again, but my only advice is don't drink or eat in the hotel as it was really expensive to do so.
Beds extremely hard - good if you desire to sleep on sidewalk. Gym upstairs played loud music all night and commenced at 06:00AM. Staff performance when notified less than prompt and attentive. In fact, this is a three star hotel and that is a stretch... I would not rccommend this hotel as you are much better off at Landmark Hotel.
It was a nice stay in this hotel. The Devarana Spa is at the third floor of this hotel, it was a wonderful experience for us, especially now they are in promotion, buy 1 get 1 free. Must try! The night market is right outside the hotel. Very convenience to arrange activities (jungle fight, ATV, white water rafting etc) at the night market. The room was small, but the water pressure of the shower was nice, compared with the others. Besides, the staffs were friendly and helpful. Recommended.

I've stayed here on and off for the last 3 years. Breakfast buffet is wonderful. Staff is great and the location is night next to the night bazaar. The hotel is very modern and the lounge is gorgeous. Rooms are very comfortable, but the flat screen TVs leave a bit to be desired for...they are very small. However if you're just looking for a well-located, comfortable place to stay this place will do the trick.
Arrived at 9.20am and didnt expect to chek in so early but the staff arranged for me to upgrade to a Club Suite which was superb. Very friendly and attentive staff who responded to all my queries very quickly. They arranged a driver for me every day to take me to meetings at a good rate and I would recommend this hotel for any business trip. Good meeting places in the lobby also

I stayed at the Dusit D2 for 4 nights. It is located right next to the night bazaar which is a great location for shopping and cheap, delicious food for dinner. It's in the "old city" a short tuk tuck (taxi) ride of about 50 baht $1.30 and 1.5 miles from the moat which is where the new city is. Don't pay the Tuk Tuk drivers more then 50 baht which is probably too much as is. They often want 60 or even 100 baht which is a rip off so just walk away and find another one and tell them you pay 40 or 50 baht. The Dusit D2 is a great hotel in many ways. The only issue I had with this hotel is that the shower is poorly designed. The shower head is a removable one like most of thailand and European countries use but it does want to spray straight. The water constantly sprays against the side of the tub which normally would be fine however the tub was no designed to prevent the water from leaking out onto the floor. Yes the floor has a drain but the hotel only provides two towels per day (you'll need a lot more), so the water literally gets ever place. They really need to put a door on the show or fix this shower head. This is somewhat minor, because everything else about the hotel is great, but it definitely was an issue which will impact whether I stay at this hotel next time I am in Chiang Mai and oh most certainly will visit Chiang Mai again because it is the nicest city in Thailand in my opinion.
It was fine but I was annoyed as on check in I was told I had to pay for an extra bed for my 2 kids, aged 7 and 10,and had to refer the receptionist to the agoda booking page which specified children 2 to 11 can stay for free if using existing bedding. It took over 10 minutes to sort out before I was believed to be correct and would make me reluctant to book here again.
An enjoyable stay overall. Staff were excellent generally and the hotel was well maintained. Housekeeping appeared inconsistent though from one day to the next. Not unusual to have only one small complimentary coffee sachet for two people :-)
This is my second time to stay in this hotel. I feel very happy with so many things such as friendly and good services, good food and convenience I get from staying there.
