It was lovely. Got upgraded, everything was working except the safe which we had to call for help but they did manage to fix it in the end. The only probable downside is the pillows, too soft for comfort. Otherwise everything else was perfect. Will definitely be back! :)
Overall the stay is good.
Our 4D3N stay at Amari was great! The check-in and concierge staff are extremely helpful and friendly. The spa was good as well. The room is spacious and clean, except that the shower facilities are a little rusty/dirty/old (due to wear and tear). I like the big sofa area at the lobby so that we could sit and wait there to gather with other friends. Everyone was friendly with smiles except the guy that did our checkout.
Would recommend this hotel and would stay there again in the future. The staff were excellent and the hotel room was lovely. It is right next to a large market and shopping centre. The swimming pool was great.

Overall experience was great. The hotel is located not too far away from the Airport Railway link but due to the density of crowd and traffic it makes it more difficult to navigate to the hotel. It is located directly opposite Platinum Mall which is a shopping paradise for female and that makes my gf happy. There are many shops around the hotel selling clothing, accessories and food. Friendly staff who are proficient in English and provides prompt assistance should needs arise. There are 3 shops withing the hotel shopping arcade which provide tailoring services for formal wear. Recommend Paul's Fashion for tailoring. The only con is that it is not near any MRT or BTS station but the cheap taxi fare in BKK compensate for it.
GOOD - NO ISSUE
Stay was great but could have been a lot better if Maintenance could have responded quicker to fix complains of; 1) shower door not closing properly and water splashing when taking a shower, 2) telephone by the bedside not working. These 2 complains were informed to front desk on the first day (after check in) and was told that it would be fixed after we came back in the evening of the first day. No action taken as when we came back things were the same. Called front desk again to request them to fix and was told would be fixed the next day when we were out. Next day after coming back to the hotel in the evening, same thing; nothing done; shower door ajar and telephone still not working!! This time got a bit annoyed when after calling front desk, was told that they will fixed it the next day again! Told them it was unacceptable to wait as the phone was already not working at all for 2 full days and bathroom very wet. Insisted that they fixed these 2 problems straight away or let me speak to the duty manager and suddenly the Maintenance staff appeared to fix everything. Disappointed with the really unacceptable (2 full days) delay in response to maintenance complains. Other than this everything else was great; the beds were really great and housekeeping was very good. Overall had a really great stay despite above comments. Will still highly recommend staying here and hopefully management will sort out internal issues.
