I had a wonderful time. I will stay here again for sure. It is a very good value for the price, not too expensive, and very convenient. The taxis at the hotel are also very honest, kind, and can speak good English. Almost all amenities are 24hours. Only one complaint, the mini-bar is a bit on the pricey side, and since it takes a good 5 minutes to go down to the first floor (not enough elevators, only 4), I found this a bit hard...
Overall experience was wonderful. The room was clean and spacious. I would say this hotel has one of the best breakfast spread. Conveniently located just beside a BTS station which can bring you to the main shopping places in about 15 to 20mins. Yet nicely tucked away from all the hustle and bustle of a city. The pool is another great place to hangout at. However, it can be quite busy in the day.
We had an excellent stay at the Eastin Grand Sathorn after a very very long flight. We enjoyed the view, the room, and the service so much that we basically just stayed at the hotel aside from the errands we had to run before leaving for Myanmar. I would strongly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to escape the hectic pace of southeast Asia.

Wonderful hotel. If you do intend on staying at this hotel make sure you pay for executive privileges. Also at check in ask to see the available rooms. There's a lot of difference between rooms which you can't see on Agoda. My partner and I upgraded to better room with a bath and it was the best decision we made. Breakfast and happy hour were wonderful, be warned the cocktails are strong and the food good! Staff have good English in the executive area. Very happy!
