Royal Wing Suites and Spa by Royal Cliff Hotels Group

Luxurious & Superb service
It has everything in the hotel; other hotel buildings are close enough to walk to & from. Staffs were very friendly and attentive towards me, I couldn't ask for more from it.
9.3
The hotel is on the top of the cliff over looking the ocean and sunset of Pattaya, all the rooms are looking towards it. Once we got there, staffs were very helpful with our luggage and so polite to us. We like how there are so many restaurant to choose from which is just what we needed, though the new infinity pool in the other wing was alittle crowded but one in our wing worked just as fine. Would definitely come back here again if I ever get a chance to come to Pattaya.

It was nice stay in the hotel, good location, but staffs' English level should be increased.

very exciting and very nice experiments. I will come back again in the future.

This hotel is way overrated, I'm very disappointed
Friendly Staff, Swimming Pool, That's all

Way overrated on Agoda reviews, not worth the price at all. The elevator its like an oven, the ventilation system is serving nothing but hot heat. The LAN port in the room is badly designed, the cable cannot be plugged due to the distance of the walled hub with the molding is too close to each other. The staff spent like 10 minutes to figure out a way to force plug the cable in. The TV in the room is so lagging, it takes about 3+ seconds to change a channel. Sometimes it takes over a minute just to open the TV. The air condition in the room, temperature floating around on it's mood, I set to 24 degrees at night, wake up all sweat and stuffy, and find out the air-con is in fan mode for unknown reason. This happens all the time. Jacuzzi in the room is a great idea, but it's not cool at all when some bluish goo spurt into the tub from the nozzles. Panorama restaurant is just unpalatable, the thick seafood soup is like broth, Thai cappuccino is too salty to swallow, chicken tikka on rice is terrible, the chicken is not even hot and the rice is hard. The breakfast at Panorama is full of choices, but none of them taste good. The staffs are just unbelievable, there's a food server behind the food dishes picking up dim sum and eats it in front of me, another food server just stand there and play with his smart phone. Club sandwich at the pool is absolutely madness, it's not even club sandwich, it's satay chicken with bacon sandwich. The private beach is dirty like mud. i mean if I were paying for a 3-star hotel and there would not be a single complaint, but this is Royal Cliff Suites & Spa, this is supposed to be the best in Pattaya, and I would expect the best of it too, but I certainly didn't experience any bests here. I'm so disappointed with Royal Cliff and I would never ever come back to this hotel again.

The stay with them was amazing as the staff there really caters to your needs and the hotel room was very clean and comfortable that therefore I felt really pampered during the whole trip. The experience with the royal wing was just amazing and I will definitely come back to visit again. The great thing about this hotel is that it is very quiet as no other guests can come to visit but we, the guest of royal wing are able to visit the other hotel's pool therefore if anybody is looking for a nice and quiet place for relaxing, this is the place I would highly recommend. Furthermore, the manager and staff was so friendly that they are fast on getting our rooms ready as quick as they can to prevent us from waiting as well as telling us more on the new renovation of double rooms that are connected but was a pity that we can't take a tour because of the renovation. Last but not least, breakfast is amazing too as there are varieties to choose from which are mostly international food. I will definitely go back and visit again which in fact I am planning to on around October.

Luxury room for the price we are paying there isnt much to complain. The location is decent just like most hotel in Pataya. However im personally think that there are a few area of improvement to be made, one being the quality of the staff not just at receiption but throughout the hotel. Although this is not a complaint but with the current situation of hotel and hospitality industry to get your stars staffs are one of your greatest contribution.

clean hotel and lovely
i really the location, cleanliness, and services of the hotel

This is our first time to Pattaya. We stayed in Royal Wing Hotel, junior suite. The hotel is about 8 levels high. We stayed in 2nd level, where the ceiling is very low. The room is nice, but the chairs in the bacolny are dusty. There are quite a lot mosquitos, so we did not go out to the bacolny and always kept the windows closed. We need to walk out to the gate to get the 'taxi'( a truck with seats) to go to the main shopping area--walking street or the festival shopping mall (which is very nice with a lot of nice restaurants, I recommend Taste of Thai at 6th or 7th level). You will need to bargain with the taxi driver or you can share the taxi with other passengers. The hotel charges for taking you to the main shopping area. They don't provide free shuttle bus. It is a shame. Next time I will stay in the hilton hotel right on the top of the central festival shopping centre.
Restaurant Tip: recommend Tast of Thai on the 6th or 7th floor of Central Festival Shopping Centre where you can also find a lot of other restaurants. The Central Department store in the shopping center has a lot of nice things to sell.

Great rooms and pool but no so happy with food

Beautiful hotel and room, knew me by name, Wonderful staffs

We stayed here for 4 nights for vacation. I travel alot for a living and have stayed at many hotels. I have to say this is one of the best hotel I have stated at. If you can afford the high room price, I would highly recommend. The hotel room was beautiful with two balconies (1 for relaxing on beach chairs and 1 for private outdoor dining). The bathroom was the best feature with the jacuzzi, private toilet room, and separate walk in shower room, all made out of marble tiles. We did ordered room services for lunch our first day and it was great with delicious food and prompt service. All the staffs were great and very professional. They all took off their shoes before entering my room at any time. The room was a true suite being the living room and bedroom were actual separate rooms. The sea view from the room was magnificent. Breakfast was really delicious with many selections. It was a-la-carte from a dine-in menu instead of the buffet style. They did tell us we can order as much as we want from the dine in menu. We had the egg benedict, grilled steak, pastas, fresh juices, crossiants and a few other stuffs. Very high quality grade ingredients. Overall, we would love to stay again. Altough for the high price we paid for the suite room, we did get our money worth. A++ to the staffs and the hotel.
Nightlife Tip: The hotel is about 1 mile away from the action highlights of Pattaya. We were able to enjoy a quiet peaceful hotel yet didn't have to travel alot to get to the bars and nightlife of walking street. If you are looking for a romantic locations to relax yet be able to take a quick always readily available taxi, then I highly recommend the hotel.
