Siam @ Siam Design Hotel & Spa Bangkok

well designed business hotel
location, design & friendly+efficient staff
8.7
the hotel is well designed and it got a very good location juz right in the centre area with many large shopping malls and restaurants. The skytrain station is juz right beside this hotels and there are few massage outlet nearby. Everything is juz within walking distant.

Not as good as before
Convenient location, wide selection of breakfast

I have always been staying at Siam@Siam whenever I go to Thailand, which is quite often. However, recently, I noticed it's not as good as before. The design/decor is still nice, bed is rather comfortable, but the internet connection really bothers me a lot - it logs you out every few hours and force you to enter the user id & password over and over again! Also, the staffs at the reception/lobby are not always friendly. For example, couple of times, I had to run to the lobby in the middle of a night to get a new set of wifi password - because the staff refused to deliver it to my room.

A bit of Luxury right in the shopping hub
Location, pricing and modern

We only stayed 3 nights but it was a very comfortable 3 nights. Although most of our time in Bangkok was out sightseeing, we managed to have some pool time and to check out the hotel facilities. It seemed that most of the decor was made from recycled products which was comforting to see and still provided a modern look and stylish effect. The pool area provided a view over Bangkok along with the roof top, most spectacular at night. We did not have a chance to have a drink at the roof top bar but it looked amazing. The location of the hotel was ideal and just a short walk to MBK and Siam shopping malls. The skystrain was basically just outside the hotel. Our room was very comfortable and we slept well with minimal noise. The staff were always so friendly and helpful and we were able to check in early as we arrived on an early flight into Bangkok. In a nutshell, I would recommend a stay at this hotel. If we ever have a chance to visit Bangkok again and if the price is right, we would certainly stay here again.

Centrally located. Staff really friendly
Pool, rooms great size, really comfortable beds, great location

Overall nice design hotel with a bit more privacy. Very good location, very near to train station, supermarket, convenient stores, shopping malls etc. WIFI connection was fast. Bathtub was tiled instead of ceramic so not too clean to be use in my opinion so ended up using the shower hose. Room has more than enough power points to charge up your electronic devices. Definitely recommend this hotel to people with a bit more budget and looking for a nice place in a central location.

Nice design hotel with decent facilities and room
Good facilities, Comfortable room, good location

It was a decent stay. The design was nice and facilities were well equipped. The room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast has a decent spread of variety and was nice. The down points were the carpark has insufficient lightings, the rooms and common corridor was quite dim as well, and lastly, there were 2 instances whereby the service staff were rude to my wife and me. 1st instance was that the receptionist did not gave us the wifi password to us upon checking in, hence, my wife called and the receptionist was very rude and inpatient to her. 2nd instance was during the checking out, the duty manager at the reception counter was rude and inpatient to us. These 2 instances had tarnish the nicely designed and name of the hotel.

Pleasant experience, close to Siam shops
Location, rooftop bar, boutique surroundings

Our stay was without complaint. The room was nice, artsy and comfortable. The rooftop bar was a good place to relax on a balmy Bangkok evening, taking in all the lights of the big city.

Best value for money that I had for years!
Design is edgy, thoughtful, creative food, service is warm and unpretentious

It's hard to be picky when you get such a good value for money; a lot of 5 stars wouldn't be able to measure to that standard, yet it's delivered in a simple, friendly and unpretentious way that make you wonder why not everybody would do the same? So, a great 5 stars that look like an art gallery/ designer's home. Of course the staff could brush up their language skills, but that's valid for Bangkok in general.

great
central location, nice staff, great rooms

First off I have to say that I was a bit disappointed by the swimming pool which has indeed a great view, but I found the water not so clean, and the area next to the pool actually quite small. Other than that, the hotel is 2min away from National Stadium station on the BTS line, has all you need, is super clean and nice, rooms are great, everything is perfect! The best thing I would say is the amazing breakfast buffet, which has to be in the top ten I've seen in the more affordable range of hotels. Really great! I will definitely come back.

Comfortable, great staff, rethink value for money
1. Close to sky train so Bkk is at your finger tips. 2. Funky/arts atmosphere. 3. Great bed.

This was my second time at Siam@Siam. I must have got an upgrade the first time without knowing it. First time I had a large room with a king bed and it was spectacular. This time I got a small room with two beds put together. It was ok but i was hoping for the big room for the money I spent. AUD $112 a night is a lot for Bangkok. In Australia you expect that but in BKK I want a lot of bells and whistles for that price. Staff were faultless. Cleanliness was amazing. Comfort was great but a small room put me off for that price. If you can put that aside, which I did, then Siam@Siam is a great place. If I paid about $70 a night i would have been happy. Bit $112 when I got a bigger and no better room last time pit me in the 'will seriously need to reconsider' basket. I will look around harder next time for that price. Having said that, if you haven't been to BKK before and don't know what to expect, this hotel is fine for the BKK experience. Close to major shops (can walk) and the Sky train it is an ideal location. Service is first class and comfort is great. If you are not worried about a few dollars in comparison with a less expensive place, don't hesitate to stay here.
